Produced from 70 year old vines, the outstanding Puligny-Montrachet La Garenne has an expressive nose laden with candied almonds and honeysuckle blossoms. This fat, medium-to-full-bodied, rich, and mouth-coating wine is concentrated and powerful, yet refined and detailed. Poached pear, nuts, and lees can be found in its flavor profile in addition to its lingering finish. It should be at its best between 2002 and 2007.
