The 2009 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva is a dark and brooding wine with lavish layers of dark fruit, barbecue spice, toasted oak, cigar and roasted espresso bean. This Montepulciano Riserva is executed in a bold and modern style with soft lines and lasting flavor persistency. The wine is fermented in cement and transferred to oak for 12 months.
