This winery's red wine selections are nearly too good to believe! The 1995 Tinto is a supple, deep ruby-colored wine with purple nuances. A surprisingly sweet, spicy, black-berry and currant-scented nose is followed by a ripe, velvety-textured, low acid, deliciously plump, nicely-textured wine that is bursting with ripe aromas and fruit flavors. Wines such as this normally sell for three times the price. Drink it over the next 2-3 years. This Rioja bodega must be one of the world's great value wineries.
