Tobacco, dried cherries, licorice and spices are some of the notes that emerge from the 2009 Zinfandel The Southern Trail. This is a mid-weight, somewhat fleeting Zinfandel that needs to be enjoyed sooner rather than later. Sweet hints of cedar and spices linger on the delicate finish. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2016.
