The 2015 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Cailleret offers the most attractive aromatics of the septet of Pulignys that I tasted from Louis Jadot - white flowers, patisserie, minerals, all very nuanced but gaining vigor in the glass. The palate is fresh on the entry with crisp acidity, a touch of viscosity with commendable tension on the finish. This should be delicious over the next decade or so and represents an outstanding effort in a growing season that did not favor the white Burgundy wines.
