The 2003 Reserva was presented in a bottle, although labeled a cask sample. It is lush and forward, showing beautiful fruit flavors. There are some tannins on the finish, but this is not the most structured wine in this lineup. Although it finishes a bit short, its texture and fruit make it appealing. However, while the less expensive 2003 Tinto is a somewhat smaller wine, I liked the flavors there more, if anything. I’m not sure this does enough to merit the price increase. Drink 2007-2012. This estate, operating under the supervision of French consultant Pascal Chatonnet, is producing an array of wines that generally perform well at fair prices.Importer: MHW, Ltd., Manhasset, NY; tel.
