A pure expression of Cabernet Franc, the Poggio al Tesoro 2018 Bolgheri Superiore Dedicato A Walter has broad shoulders and deep intensity. Loaded with richness and concentration, this pretty wine offers black fruit, lots of spiciness and smoky graphite-like aromas. There is flint, gun smoke and cured tobacco. The wine is structured with big tannins and important textural density. Fruit comes from a three-hectare plot with deep clay and sand soils located just above sea level. This wine will be released in October 2022. 6,000 bottles were made.

A sleek red, with saturated aromas and flavors of black currant, blackberry, iron, olive and tobacco augmented by fresh wild herbs.
