A pure expression of Cabernet Franc, the 2011 Bolgheri Superiore Dedicato A Walter has been upgraded from a Toscana IGT to a Bolgheri Superiore with this vintage. This is a monumental effort with pristine aromas of dark fruit, spice, pipe tobacco, Spanish cedar and ground espresso. The aromas are presented in wide strokes with ripe tannins and a touch of berry sweetness on the close. I can only imagine pairing a wine of this build with a succulent cut of red meat and spicy barbecue sauce.

Black currant, violet, black cherry and wild thyme aromas and flavors are the hallmarks of this sleek, intense red. Vibrant, with a pebbly grain to the tannins and a long, mineral-tinged finish. Cabernet Franc. Drink now through 2023. 100 cases imported.??–BS??Region: Italy / Bolgheri Select to Add
