The 2014 Silvaner Feuervogel is a selection from averaging 50 or more yearold vines in the Dalsheim Bürgel and Westhofen Steingrube. The bouquet is pure and discreet in its white and herbal fruit expression; the wine is dry, pure and round on the palate, very delicate but concentrated; it has less fruit expression than the Scheurebe, but a long and powerful finish that still reveals some stringent phenols.
