Americans are beginning to realize how much pleasure a good rose can provide. The 1992 La Rose Sauvage, a 97% Grenache/3% Viognier blend, is loaded with flavor, personality, and, most importantly, pleasure. The big, berry-scented nose jumps from the glass. Even more impressive is the cascade of luscious fruit that flows over the palate. It is a terrific rose for drinking before the end of 1993. Get your orders in before this wine sells out! As a postscript, kudos go to winemaker Steve Edmunds for taking a risk and preserving all of his grapes' flavor by bottling these wines with no filtration!
