The golden-yellow colored 2022 Kiedrich Turmberg Riesling Auslese is based on healthy but fully ripe and slightly shriveled grapes. Picked in the last third of October, this is a pure yet intense, concentrated, spicy and elegant Turmberg Auslese with fine grip that is perfectly intermingled with the saline phyllite acidity of the site. The wine is sweet yet also savory, precise and persistently long. This is very good and a rarity in 2022. 8.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in August 2023.

The 2021 Kiedrich Turmberg Riesling Auslese is precise, fresh and flinty on the nose yet pretty sweet on the palate. This is an elegant and refined, dense and saline, seriously grippy and stimulating Auslese with enormous aging potential. Very long but very sweet as well. 8.5% stated alcohol plus 110 grams per liter of residual sugar. Natural cork. Tasted in July 2022.

The 2019 Kiedrich Turmberg Riesling Auslese is precise and flinty on the nose that displays very fine raisin and honey aromas, spiced with notes of crushed slate. Charmingly round and elegant on the refined palate, this is a salty-piquant and stimulating Auslese with remarkable grip and finesse. A very digestible classic. 8.5% alcohol. Tasted from AP 22 20 in April 2020.
