The 2008 Malbec was also aged for 12 months in new French and American oak. The nose offers pain grille, pencil lead, incense, and black cherry. On the palate it is slightly less concentrated than the Cabernet but is well-balanced and long in the finish. It, too, will evolve for another 2-3 years and offer prime drinking from 2011 to 2020.
