Starts out with proprietary aromas of clove, spice and cinnamon, and in the mouth it’s a tannic grabber with forcefulness as well as ripe, sweet, menthol-infused berry flavors. Smooth and inviting; one of La Rosa’s better wines of late. It’s classic New World Shiraz with ripe, black fruit that floats toward black cherry cassis.
