Sort of creamy and unconvincing on the nose, with carob and stemmy berry aromas. The palate runs toward red fruit, but it’s also a bit green and herbal. Finishing notes of chocolate and green herbs are typical of Merlot, yet there isn’t enough ripe fruit or excitement. Hence, it’s a mid-level red wine with some green character.
