Released a year later than its peers, the 2015 Langhe Nebbiolo carries a bit more weight and walks with heavier footprints. The bouquet is ripe with dark berry flavors mixed informally with dashes of spice and grilled herb. This is an easy-drinking wine to pair with grilled meats or sausage. Some 18,000 bottles were made. Two passes of green harvest are done in the vineyard, and the maceration times are short to preserve the freshness of the aromas.

The 2013 Langhe Nebbiolo is a very drinkable and direct red wine with an up-front and matter-of-fact approach. It delivers bright freshness with easy aromas of dried blueberry and red currant. The intent here is to award freshness and transparency.
