The 1993 Pinot Noir Estate is more flattering and tasty than the 1993 Private Reserve - at least for now. It exhibits a healthy ruby/garnet color, spicy, gamey, and smoky fruit aromas, medium body, sweet fruit, fine purity, and a soft, round finish. Already seductive, it is ideal for drinking over the next 3-4 years. I have always felt that Tualatin made far better white wines, particularly Chardonnay, than Pinot Noir, so I am delighted to report on this attractive offering.Tel. (503) 357-5005
