This is clearly a superlative source for terrific red wines at bargain prices. Trentadue has begun to offer another proprietary red wine called Salute. It is the winery's least expensive wine, selling for around $7 a bottle. The 1991 should be snapped up by any consumer looking for an authoritatively flavored, graceful red wine with smooth tannins, a huge bouquet of red and black fruits, deep, cherry and raspberry-like flavors, and a ripe, luscious, long finish. Drink it over the next 5-6 years. It should be apparent that this winery is making a bevy of terrific red wines at bargain basement prices. Their wines all sell for between $6-$12 a bottle. Given their quality/price rapport, these wines will not linger on retailers' shelves.
