The 2001 T D’Anguix Gran Reserva spent 24 months in French and American oak. Still purple in color, it proffers a bouquet of wood smoke, mineral, balsamic, Asian spices, incense, and blackberry. On the palate it has excellent volume, savory flavors, complexity from extended bottle aging, and outstanding depth and concentration.
