The unoaked 2022 Langhe Sauvignon offers a clean and snappy expression of this fragrant grape with greenish tropical fruits, tomato leaf, crushed stone and sweet basil. The wine is lean and fresh in texture, but there's a lot to keep you busy in terms of bouquet. This is a 23,177-bottle release.

This is a grassy and thin expression of Sauvignon Blanc with bright citrus notes, peach and white fruit. The aromatic intensity is there, but the 2018 Langhe Sauvignon is easygoing in terms of mouthfeel, with little real staying power. It's the kind of chilled bottle you might set out with some easy finger foods to just cool off on a hot summer day.

This was a hot year, and the 2017 Langhe Sauvignon is a bit thinner and less direct as a result. It is an easy-drinking wine with aromas of passion fruit and lemon drop, but again, the aromas are slightly muted by the heat.

The 2016 Langhe Sauvignon is a toned and fragrant white wine that offers a pretty bouquet that is redolent of exotic fruit and orange blossom. This expression of Sauvignon Blanc is not as floral or as pungent as you get in Alto Adige or other areas of the far north of Italy. Instead, the wine is more viscous and creamy in texture. The finish is not one-dimensional. The wine sits firm on the palate and could pair with seafood salad or spicy Thai dishes.
