Made with organic fruit, the Tenuta Rocca 2019 Barbera d'Alba offers a pure and authentic interpretation of this versatile and inherently food-friendly grape from Piedmont. Along with dark fruit and cherry, it offers hints of crushed stone or chalk that add some dryness and pretty dimension. It's not too deep, but it's just right for a plate of pasta heavy on the shaved Parmigiano cheese. Some 6,000 bottles were made.
