This is a blend of 40% Nebbiolo, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Barbera. The Tenuta Rocca 2017 Langhe Ornati has some of the green notes of Cabernet Sauvignon that appear with particular brightness in this vintage. This is a mid-weight expression with lots of bright fruit and acidity that come through despite the heat and drought of this vintage. Ornati is a fun and playful wine to pair with barbecue-grilled steaks or chicken breasts. Production is 5,400 bottles.

The 2015 Langhe Ornati exhibits ripe Cabernet flavors of grilled herb and toasted espresso that merge with flavors of dried rose, cola and licorice. This wine represents a collision of combined tastes from international and indigenous grapes. It is made with 50% Cabernet Sauvignon with 25% Nebbiolo and 25% Barbera. Some 13,000 bottles were made.

This intense, harmonious red offers licorice notes up front, followed by plum, blackberry and spice flavors.
