As is normal with Warre’s LBV, this is bottled with a sediment, meaning it can age in the bottle. It is beautifully balanced, the ripe flavors sitting comfortably with the core of acidity and dark tannins. Warre’s LBV is a crusted, traditional style, which has been bottled unfiltered and which matures in the bottle. That’s why this wine is so fine and rich and only now reaching maturity.
