The 2010 Garnacha Special Selection (100%) spent 4 months in French and American barriques. It sports an expressive nose of lavender, cinnamon, and black cherry leading to a tasty, friendly, mouth-filling wine that offers excellent value in a wine meant for drinking over the next 3-4 years. Bodega San Jose de Aguaron is a large cooperative in the DO of Carinena that controls approximately 1200 hectares with 60% of the vines consisting of Garnacha, 70% of them over 50 years of age. All of their Carinena holdings are bush vines over 45 years of age. Its main brand is labeled Monasterio de las Vinas. No known American importer
