The 2007 Chianti Classico Riserva Ducale Oro is a big, rich wine. Tobacco, cedar, spices dried flowers and dried cherries are all woven together nicely in the 2007. There is plenty of depth and richness in the glass, but aromas and flavors are already a touch forward, which suggests the 2007 isn’t going to be especially long-lived.
