Rosemount’s 2007 Show Reserve Chardonnay spent 9 months in a mix of new and used French oak. Light gold colored with a green tint, it offers up aromas of white peach, toasted nuts, pear, and honeydew. Medium-bodied, on the palate it reveals a touch of oak and minerality accompanied by some ripe fruit but comes off as straightforward and lacking complexity. Drink it over the next 4 years.
