The 1999 Rosazzo Bianco is a blend of Tocai, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, and Picolet that has been barrel-fermented and aged (with the exception of the Sauvignon component), this medium to full-bodied, delicious wine exhibits wonderful intensity. Although tight aromatically, it displays honeyed butter, pear, and lemony aromas and flavors in addition to a medium-bodied, opulent texture. It should drink well for several years. The glycerin-imbued, rich 1997 Rosazzo Bianco is a blend of 40% Chardonnay, 10% Picolit, 40% Sauvignon, and 10% Tocai. This limited production cuvee possesses considerable body, copious amounts of glycerin, a liquid lemony/lime-like personality (key lime pie comes to mind), wet stone-like notes, and a layered, clean, refreshing finish.
