The 2009 Sauvignon Blanc provides intense grapefruit, Golden Delicious and pears aromas with a subtle undercurrent of fresh herbs. Medium bodied, it has a good concentration of apple and pear flavors with crisp acidity and a long finish. Drink it now to 2012. Although Riverby Estate produces a good Marlborough Sauvignon, the pursuit of high quality Riesling is the focus here.No known USA importer.

The 2007 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is a straight-down-the-line, no frills Sauvignon Blanc with subtle tropical touches on the grassy nose, a well-balanced palate with vibrant green fruits mixed with peach apricot towards the finish.
