The 2008 Pinot Gris has an attractive, peachy nose with touches of pear drop and apricot blossom that would benefit from just a little more definition, although the palate is well balanced, hints of pear, peach and lychee. Good length, just a little too phenolic on the finish, but otherwise very well made. I was impressed by the consistency of this Marlborough producer who delivers a range of crisp, well-crafted, vivacious white wines that are best consumed within the first two or three years of their life.Importer: Zeal Wine Imports, San Francisco, CA; tel.
