The 2014 Beaune Bressandes 1er Cru, a blend of purchased and domaine fruit all raised in around 30% new oak, has a very attractive bouquet with redcurrant and cranberry fruit, fine mineral tones and tension here. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly furry tannin, a touch of new oak to be absorbed, but there is good persistence here that bodes well for the future.
