Domaine Remi Jobard, primarily known for its delicious Meursaults, also produces two red wines. The delicious, medium-ruby-colored Monthelie Les Vignes Rondes demonstrates that Remi Jobard is a skilled red wine maker. Revealing rich red currant aromas, this juicy, dense, beautifully ripe, and medium-bodied wine is packed with plump blackberries, minerals, stones, metals, and just the right amount of oak spice. I suggest drinking it by 2001.
