The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Annum is pure and expressive this year. Blended with 8% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot, it has a beautiful perfume of cassis, mint chocolate, dried thyme and lavender with hints of mushroom and tobacco just beginning to emerge. The palate is plush and velvety with an expansive core of floral fruit and bright, balancing acidity that gives it a weightless feel. It could use another 3-5+ years in bottle.

The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Annum, blended with 25% Cabernet Franc, offers pure aromas of red cherries, blackcurrants, dried thyme, cedar, tobacco leaves and rose petals. The full-bodied palate blossoms with layer after layer of nuanced fruit. It has a seamless structure, with lacy tannins, integrated yet persistent freshness and a tremendously long finish. 430 cases were made.

Medium to deep ruby, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Annum is made up of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Cabernet Franc and 3% Malbec. The nose features licorice, dried leaves, cedar, vanilla pod and iron aromas with mint chocolate, cumin, cardamom, coffee bean and a core of red and black fruits—so many layers and exotic spice notes! Medium to full-bodied, it explodes with luscious fruits, chocolate and spice accents, framed by very ripe, grainy tannins and great freshness and finishing long and layered. Yes! 842 cases were made.

The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Annum is made up of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Cabernet Franc. It's deep ruby with a nose of graphite, dusty earth, bitter chocolate and cardamom with floral sparks, iron, crème de cassis, red and black cherries, loamy earth and star anise. Medium to full-bodied, it's lush and smooth in the mouth with loads of chocolaty fruits, very ripe, grainy tannins and great acidity, finishing very long. Lovely! 606 cases were made.
