The 2012 Virolet is a young, unoaked white produced with Xarello grapes, which matured in vat for five months in contact with the lees. It displays a bright pale yellow color with aromas of yellow plums and white pepper. The palate is dense and fresh with clean flavors, good acidity and persistence and a pleasant, slightly bitter finish. Drink now-2016. Oriol Rosell is a small family winery created in 1984 around their 80 hectares of vineyards. They produce both Cava and still Penedes wines. 350,000 bottles are produced annually.
