With 40,000 bottles made, the 2019 Ad Astra is a pleasurable, full-bodied expression with background tones of grilled rosemary and Mediterranean brush. Barrique and tonneaux aging give the wine lasting richness and smoothness.

The 2015 Ad Astra is an informal blend of 50% Sangiovese with 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. Fruit comes from the Maremma area of Coastal Tuscany. This is a soft and accessible wine with luscious layers of blackberry, dried cherry, sweet spice and toasted nut. This is a great bottle to pair with fettuccine with a wild boar ragù.
