The 2007 Mount Pleasant Lovedale Semillon exudes a lovely fragrance of preserved lemons, shaved almonds, grapefruit peel, pear drops and hay, with nuances of dried mandarin peel and crushed stones. Light-bodied, dry and endowed with tons of mouth-filling, preserved citrus and mineral flavors, it has a refreshing backbone of very crisp acid and a very long, yeasty/toasty finish.
