2008 Chapter Three Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep garnet-purple color and pronounced notes of crushed black currant, spearmint, hung meat and cassia. Crisp acidity and a medium to firm level of very fine tannins provide excellent structure for the concentrated, juicy fruit. The finish is long with lingering dark berry and mint flavors. Delicious now, this wine should keep to 2018. McPherson’s Basilisk wines are solidly made and offer a good value taste of Central Victoria fruit.Importers: Epic, Santa Cruz, CA; tel.
