Produced from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and aged in French oak for 12 months, 65% new, the 2009 Chapter Three Cabernet Sauvignon casts a deep garnet-purple color and gives pronounced notes of eucalypt, creme de cassis, cedar and allspice. Full bodied and concentrated on the palate, the generous cassis and mint flavors are well supported by crisp acid and a medium-firm level of grainy tannins. It finishes long and spicy. Approachable now, it should give pleasure to 2016+. McPherson does not currently have a USA importer.

2008 Chapter Three Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep garnet-purple color and pronounced notes of crushed black currant, spearmint, hung meat and cassia. Crisp acidity and a medium to firm level of very fine tannins provide excellent structure for the concentrated, juicy fruit. The finish is long with lingering dark berry and mint flavors.
