The 2013 Falerno del Massico Riserva Etichetta Bronzo offers aged aromas of church incense, dried rose potpourri and dried spice. The primary fruit has faded, but the wine's acidity remains absolutely intact and is very much the protagonist of this vintage. That freshness carries through to the end of the palate. There is some dried blackberry or maraschino cherry on the close. Some 3,500 bottles were made.

The 2011 Falerno del Massico Riserva Etichetta Bronzo represents a blend of 80% Aglianico and 20% Piedirosso. The grapes are harvested separately and fermented in stainless steel and conical chestnut wood tanks. Some 70% of the wine is aged in tonneaux for 12 months and the rest goes into barrique. The bouquet is deep and velvety with bold cherry, chocolate, spice and leather. The results are balanced, succulent and generous.
