The Marco Felluga 2015 Collio Rosso Carantan is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. This is a beautiful and precise rendition that offers rich and balanced fruit that is intense but also contained. Nothing is out of place. You must admire the neatly organized and linear presentation of dark fruit, plum, tart cherry, spice and cured tobacco. The aromas are lifted, and the wine delivers grace thanks to its accessible phenolic weight and its natural freshness. You get a hint of black pepper on the finish.

This dense blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon shows some light browning on the edges and delivers intense aromas of spice, tobacco, Spanish cedar, figs and prunes.
