What Tucki regards as the house's "classic" village wine, the 2017 Chablis La Pierrelée sees a long élevage in used wood as well as stainless steel. Exhibiting aromas of lemon oil, mandarin, green apple, white flowers and oyster jus, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and nicely layered, with a saline, mineral finish.

A fresh, succulent and harmonious version, this white evokes apple, melon and lemon flavors, with a squeeze of lemon. A mineral element lingers. Drink now through 2016. 1,500 cases imported.??–BS??Region: France / Burgundy / Chablis Select to Add

The Chablisienne accounts for about a third of the production of Chablis, and serves its appellation well. La Pierrelée is the name of the vineyard. The wine has some firm stony fruit, with a good backbone of minerality, and more acidity than usual for the vintage.
