The 2018 Zinfandel St. Peter's Church Vineyard was made with 20% whole cluster and aged 18 months in 20% new French oak. It has a medium ruby-purple color and a nose of wild black and red berries, tobacco leaves, earth and graphite. The medium-bodied palate is brighter than expected, with juicy berry fruits and earthy accents. 256 cases were made.

The 2017 Zinfandel St. Peter's Church Vineyard opens with incredibly pure scents of white peaches with notes of garrigue, crushed boysenberries and lavender. Medium-bodied, it's wonderfully layered and lightly chewy with lip-smacking freshness and a long, layered finish. What a gorgeous zinfandel! 248 cases produced.

Medium to deep ruby, the 2016 Zinfandel St. Peter's Church Vineyard is a touch reticent to begin, with notes of tar, damp earth and autumn leaves. With time it offers aromas of cinnamon toast, black and red berry preserves, charcuterie and stone fruit touches. Medium to full-bodied, the palate unleashes a color wheel of fruits framed with finely grained tannins and great freshness, finishing very long. This has great potential to blossom in bottle and will reward cellaring. 225 cases produced.

Medium garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Zinfandel St. Peter's Church Vineyard has a nose of raspberry pie, blueberry compote and preserved plums with underlying hints of scorched earth, Indian spices, tobacco and stewed tea. Big, concentrated and full-bodied in the mouth, it has a racy line and a lovely plush texture, finishing with a compelling herbal lift. 165 cases were made.

The 2014 Zinfandel St. Peter’s Church is 100% Zinfandel, but again has that beautiful floral nose that Cohn seems to achieve consistently. A big, sweet kiss of blackberry and black cherry fruit with baking spices, earth and a touch of pepper and forest floor. This is lush, full-bodied, stunning Zinfandel to drink over the next 7-8 years. By the way, it carries its 15.5% natural alcohol brilliantly.
