The 2018 Zinfandel Iron Hill Vineyard was made with 20% whole cluster and aged 18 months in 25% new French oak. Medium ruby, the nose is scented with peach, raspberry, rhubarb, aniseed and purple flowers. The palate is full, grainy and fresh with a wonderful array of spices that fans out on the long finish. 165 cases produced.

Deep ruby, the 2017 Zinfandel Iron Hill Vineyard embodies its title with notes of cast iron and iodine over a core of blackberry and cherry fruit with earthy accents. It's nuanced and concentrated, medium to full-bodied with a fine grain and super juicy, perfumed finish. This is a singular and intriguing Zinfandel. 110 cases were made.

Deep ruby, the 2016 Zinfandel Iron Hill Vineyard has a gregarious nose of apricot-ginger jam, spiced stone fruit cobbler, cinnamon stick, mixed berries and oodles of violet perfume—this is wonderfully dense and aromatic. The full-bodied palate is packed with flavor layers but lifted by its frame of ripe tannins and remarkable freshness, finishing very long and very spicy. This is literally lip-smacking good! 188 cases produced.

Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Zinfandel Iron Hill Vineyard reveals notes of baked plums, spice cake, sandalwood and rose hip tea with an undercurrent of mincemeat pie, dried herbs and star anise. Full-bodied and generously fruited in the mouth, the rich dried berry layers are well-framed by a lively backbone and chewy texture, finishing long and spicy. 154 cases were made.

As for the 2014 Zinfandel Iron Hill, this is 100% Zinfandel with 10% whole clusters, aged in 30% new French oak. The wine is deep, briary, rich, supple, with loads of berry fruit, sweet tannin and a lush, heady mouthfeel. Drink it over the next 5-7 years.
