Taking their cue from the old name for the local vineyards around Deutschkreutz in Mittelburgenland, the Reisners, who run the Igler winery, have fashioned a traditional style of Blaufrankisch. It’s impressive, the density of the tannins never overwhelming the ripe, juicy, black fruit flavors. It is certainly a ripe wine, but the richness never overpowers the structure and the acidity.——R.V.(8/1/2008)—— 90
