The 2018 Pinot Noir Whistling Ridge Vineyard has a pale ruby color with a lovely perfume of mint leaves, crushed black cherries and turned earth with an iron-like streak. The medium-bodied palate is grainy and fresh with a fine balance of intense, dark fruits and earthy accents, and it finishes long and flavorful.

Pale to medium ruby, the 2017 Pinot Noir Whistling Ridge Vineyard slowly opens to reveal red currant, crushed black cherries, cured meats and a graphite/mineral undercurrent with accents of amaro, flowers and fragrant earth. Medium-bodied and silky, it’s mineral driven and nuanced in the mouth with fine, grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing very long and bitters-laced. Give this another year or two in bottle.

The 2016 Pinot Noir Whistling Ridge Vineyard comes from vines planted in 1990 on sedimentary soils. Pale to medium ruby, it has a perfumed, inviting nose of sliced blueberries, violet, lilac, dried red cherries and red currants with notes of turned earth and cinnamon stick. Medium-bodied, it floods the mouth with spicy fruits, grainy and super fresh with a long, floral-laced finish. This is drinking beautifully! 226 cases were made.

From a vineyard planted in 1990, the pale to medium ruby colored 2015 Pinot Noir Whistling Ridge Vineyard has a spicy nose of coriander, warm cinnamon, potpourri and dried leaves over a core of baked cranberry and red cherry fruit with meaty/savory touches. Light to medium-bodied, it has spice-laced red fruits in the mouth, with a great frame of fine-grained tannins and wonderful freshness, finishing very long and very spicy. 270 cases produced.

Pale ruby colored with a hint of purple, the 2014 Pinot Noir Whistling Ridge Vineyard has stewed tea, fragrant earth and red roses notes on the nose with a core of cranberries and red cherries. Medium-bodied with bags of finesse and expression, it has a chewy frame of tannins and lively line of acid, finishing long and earthy.
