Fattoria Zerbina was founded in 1966, and this wine was first produced in 1971. The 2017 Sangiovese di Romagna Superiore Ceregio is an entry-level red that delivers bright aromas of raw cherry fruit, crushed white pepper and grilled herbs. No oak is used, and this mid-weight wine is fermented in cement vats. Pair this informal wine with fried chicken or breaded veal. Some 80,000 bottles were made.
