Offering enormous varietal purity and crispness, her 2019 Alto Adige Sauvignon Vigna Castel Ringberg is a bright and luminous wine with citrusy aromas that cede to tropical fruit, fresh basil, jasmine and almond blossom. Like most of the beautiful white wines that come from the Dolomites in the far north of Italy, there is a distinctive mineral note of crushed limestone or chalk as well. This is a 15,000-bottle production. Fruit comes from the Castel Ringberg vineyard just above the Caldaro Lake at a cool and breezy 400 meters above sea level.
