Spices, mulled red and black fruits, pepper and new saddle leather all emerge from the 2013 St Joseph Lieu-Dit St. Joseph and this medium to full-bodied, classic St Joseph has good ripeness and length. It’s well worth checking out and will offer immense pleasure over the coming decade.

Bottled last November, the 2012 St Joseph Lieu Dit St Joseph comes from one of the warmest terroirs in the appellation. Aged in 100% new French oak, it has a terrific perfume of chocolate-laced dark fruits, toasted bread, graphite and pepper. Medium to full-bodied, mouth filling with beautiful concentration and ripe tannin, it needs 2-3 years of bottle age but will drink nicely through 2027.

The 2011 St Joseph Lieu Dit St Joseph continues to drink beautifully and shows the sunny, upfront and sexy nature of this vintage. Kirsch, blackberries, licorce, olive and even some bacon fat give way to a classic, gorgeous St Joseph that's ideal for drinking over the coming decade.

A full-bore, concentrated and age-worthy St Joseph that checks in near the top of the appellation, the 2010 St Joseph Lieu Dit St Joseph offers classic bacon fat, spice, barbecue smoke and assorted dark fruits, with the stunning minerality common in the vintage. Full-bodied and structured, with tons of extract, bight acidity and lots of tannin, it needs 3-4 years of cellaring but will have 2+ decades of longevity.
