Including declassified grapes from young vines in higher appellations, the 2018 Bourgogne Chardonnay Terres de Famille exhibits aromas of green orchard fruit, orange rind and hazelnuts, followed by a medium to full-bodied, crisp but fleshy palate that's open and expressive.

The 2016 Bourgogne Chardonnay Terres de Famille includes some declassified village crus, such as Clos Blanc. It has a clean, fresh bouquet, not complex but bright. The palate is fresh and bright with light pear and nectarine notes, good acidity and a straightforward, punter-friendly finish. Enjoy this over the next 5 or 6 years.

The 2015 Bourgogne Blanc Terres de Famille contains declassified fruit from young vines from the Beaune and Vougeot appellations. It has a crisp bouquet with light, slightly resinous aromas. The palate is lightly honeyed, easy-drinking with a tropical note and pear drop on the finish.

The 2014 Bourgogne Blanc Terres de Familles, which was taken from vat, has a light bouquet with just a brush of honey. The palate is nicely balanced with good weight, hints of orange zest filtering through on the vibrant finish. I actually favor this over the C?te de Beaune les Pierres Blanches this year.
