Made from 90% Syrah and 10% Grenache, the 2010 Grignan-Les-Adhemar La Truffiere was aged 14 months in barrel. It is slightly more austere, although it offers a distinctive bouquet of forest floor and black truffles. After that, the wine narrows in the mouth and the oak and tannins dominate.
The Domaine de Grangeneuve is well-known in what used to be the Coteaux du Tricastin, but is now one of France’s newest appellations, Grignan-Les-Adhemar.
