The 2020 Pouilly-Fuissé Vieilles Vignes is the richest, most demonstrative wine in the range, delivering aromas of peach, citrus oil, nutmeg and freshly baked bread. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and enveloping, with a generous but vibrant core of fruit and a long, saline finish, it will drink well young.

Bursting from the glass with aromas of fresh bread, crisp stone fruit, orange oil and white flowers, the 2019 Pouilly-Fuissé Vieilles Vignes is medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, with a fleshy and enveloping core of fruit girdled by bright acids. This nicely balanced white was vinified and matured entirely in barrel.

Aromas of fresh peach, mandarin, clear honey and warm pastry introduce Jeandeau's 2018 Pouilly-Fuissé Vieilles Vignes, a medium to full-bodied, satiny and enveloping wine with an elegantly textural attack that segues into an open, expressive mid-palate, concluding with a nicely defined finish.

More tensile and structured is the 2017 Pouilly-Fuissé Vieilles Vignes, a compelling effort that unwinds in the glass with aromas of fresh peach, green pear, citrus oil, warm bread and almond paste. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, with a charming, elegant profile, displaying cut and back-end grip.

The 2016 Pouilly-Fuissé Vieilles Vignes is lovely, wafting from the glass with notes of lemon oil, honeysuckle, pastry cream, oatmeal and mint. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny, with bright acids, good depth at the core and a saline, tangy finish.
