The Damilano 2017 Barbera d'Alba Lablù is a dark, plump and fruit-forward expression that is packed tight with blackberry preserves, rum cake and summer cherry. The wine's natural richness and concentration would pair nicely next to a simple steak in cream and pepper sauce. Lablù offers the fresh acidity you should expect from a classic Barbera d'Alba. Some 15,000 bottles were made.

The 2016 Barbera d'Alba Lablù opens with notes of cherry syrup and ripeness, offering thick lines and a succulent feel. This is a great wine to pair with cabbage stuffed with meat or minced meat ravioli with shaved pecorino cheese. It is a good value option too. Some 22,000 bottles were made.
