The 2006 Grenache was sourced from a 60-year-old plot of dry-grown bush vines and aged for 18 months in seasoned French barriques and hogsheads before bottling without fining or filtration. Dark ruby-colored, it has an alluring bouquet of spice box and fragrant wild cherries. Velvety-textured, succulent, and pure, this nicely balanced effort can be enjoyed over the next 8-10 years. Cooper Burns is a winemaking partnership of Mark Cooper and Russell Burns which began with the 2004 vintage.Importer: Jane Delaney, The Ravensvale Group, Naples, FL; tel. (800) 580-0052
